Job summary

Korry-Electronics in the United States seeks a Commodity Manager to lead supplier development and manage Buyers within assigned electronics commodities, including CCA components. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements, and drive supplier performance across quality, delivery, and cost.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and Finance to ensure optimal sourcing results and continuous improvement. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, operations management or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain with direct reports.
• Proficient in ERP and PLM systems.
• Experience with commercial electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Buyers responsible for tactical purchasing activities.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for a robust supply chain.
• Identify and lead cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
• Define and implement sourcing strategies for new and existing programs.
• Oversee work transfer projects and ensure on-time/budget execution.
• Perform regular supplier business reviews and drive improvement.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across your commodity.
• Monitor supplier capacity to adapt to program rate changes and obsolescence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your commodity.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and evaluate proposals.
