Abbott is seeking a dynamic Category Manager, Electronics, to lead global electronics procurement in the EP Electrophysiology division based in Plymouth, MN or St. Paul, MN.

You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, analyze total cost of ownership, and drive supplier performance. The role partners with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain, requires 6–10 years in procurement, strong contract negotiation, and up to 20% travel, including international.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.
• 6–10 years of procurement and/or category management experience.
• 3 years in regulated industry.
• Willingness to travel ~20%, including international.

Responsibilities

• Lead electronics category globally, driving sourcing strategy and supplier consolidation.
• Build relationships with stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, corporate procurement).
• Develop and implement category and supplier strategies aligned to growth and margins.
• Negotiate contracts and conduct TCO analysis to drive cost savings.
• Establish supplier scorecards and conduct business reviews to improve performance.
