Job summary

The Structures Company in Orlando, FL is seeking an Electronics Calibration Technician to calibrate optical and electronic measuring equipment and signal generators, ensuring conformance to specifications and blueprints. You will set up calibration sequences, and perform maintenance on test equipment to support aerospace and defense programs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in optics calibration, proficiency with interferometers, autocollimators, scopes, and Indysoft, plus a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person for ITAR compliance.
• 2+ years in optics measurement and calibration.
• Experience with calibration tools: interferometer, autocollimator, scopes, RF, and DMM.
• Proficient with Indysoft calibration system and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates optical/electronic measuring equipment to standards.
• Sets up calibration sequences per drawings and requirements.
• Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts.
• Monitors quality using statistical or control procedures.
