Job summary

The role requires 1–3+ years in electronics assembly with strong dexterity and a high school diploma; a technical certification or an Associate degree is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years of experience in electronics assembly and repair, and ability to operate electrical testing and measurement meters.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for handling, assembling, and reworking electronic circuits and components with and without a microscope.
• High school diploma; technical certification or an Associate degree in Electronics Technology is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering and rework.
• Perform surface mount and through soldering, desoldering and component replacement on printed circuit boards with soldering iron or bench top reflow equipment.
• Perform solder re-ball on BGA packages.
• Safety and ESD compliance; maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Run basic electrical tests on components and devices.
• Occasionally pick up and deliver items to local laboratories.
