TUALCOM is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician in Sterling, VA to build subassemblies and complete products to high quality standards. The role emphasizes hands-on electromechanical assembly, soldering, wiring, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will read drawings and instructions, use tools such as multimeters, microscopes and hot air tools, and work collaboratively with engineers and quality teams to ensure throughput while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electronics assembly and wiring.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
• Capable of soldering, rework, and through-hole/SMT methods.
• Readiness to document work and maintain traceability records.
• Comfortable with IPC standards and ISO expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boards, devices and cable harnesses from drawings and instructions.
• Perform repairs on PCBs and electromechanical assemblies and inspect for quality.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure traceability of parts.
• Keep workstation clean, organized and support inventory control.
• Meet daily and weekly production targets, especially during peak demand.
