Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Operator I for a clean room–style manufacturing environment in Michigan. The role focuses on manual assembly, testing, material handling, and entry of production data to support timely shipment of high‑quality products.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year of assembly experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions. Training and multiple shifts with premiums for some shifts are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• At least 1+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 6+ months of on-the-job experience using common hand tools.
• Basic computer skills (power on, open documents, navigate, type).
• Ability to obtain and maintain required job-related certifications.
• Ability to read and follow work processes and instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality, following procedures.
• Willingness to adhere to safety, health, and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to specified volumes and quality standards.
• Perform functional testing on completed systems according to defined procedures.
• Pull and stage materials from flow racks and bin locations to support production.
• Perform back flush operations and record production activity in computer systems.
• Conduct physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the work area.
• Follow safety rules and use required PPE at all times.
• Adhere to company security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production deadlines.
