Role Overview and Responsibilities

This position requires use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR, including U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders), Political Asylees, or Refugees.

Introduction

The Electronic Assemblies Operator performs repetitive, intermediate-level assembly work on low-volume, high-mix assembly lines to produce transformers, inductors, and power supply products.

• Be J-STD-001D Inspection certified.
• Understand basic problem solving (PDCA) and identify quality issues.
• Apply advanced principles of Lean Manufacturing.
• Implement visual workplace management principles.
• Assist in resolving quality and production issues on the line.
• Train other team members in various production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Core Competencies

• Read and interpret production drawings and instructions independently.
• Work safely with chemicals.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Experience working in repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of quality practices.
• Meet vision requirements as per quality standards.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift throughout the day; lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• GED or High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• At least two years of electronics assembly experience preferred.
• One year of soldering experience preferred.
• Experience in inspection and training preferred.
• Reiteration of ITAR requirements for U.S. persons.
