Job summary

Twenty-Six Defense in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Electronic Assembler to support manufacturing of circuit card assemblies, electro-mechanical systems, and process refinement.

You will perform wiring, hand soldering, component placement, inspection, and documentation, ensuring quality and conformance with IPC standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• J-STD certification
• IPC-610 certification
• IPC 7711/7721 (rework and repair certifications)
• Two years minimum (five years preferred) experience in an Electromechanical Assembly role or related position.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inspection procedures and the use of inspection tools such as gauges and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Performs set up and assembly of electronic assemblies including; wiring, hand soldering, component placement and mechanical assembly as well as rework and repair.
• Performs in-process and final assembly inspections and audits as required.
• Makes verbal or written recommendations for product and process improvements
• Perform potting/encapsulating, mixing of resins and epoxies.
• Sprays or applies protective coatings, as required.
• Applies minimal touch up paint as required using paint pens or similar controlled devices.
• Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with company guidelines.
• Verifies documentation for completeness, accuracy and acceptable Certificates of Conformance.
• Accepts or rejects items inspected/audited and records the results of inspections.
• Records results of inspections in computer data systems.
