Job summary

ENTRON Controls LLC in Greer, SC is hiring for a full-time Electrical/Mechanical Assembler. You will assemble Weld Control systems and sub-assemblies, reading engineering drawings and SOPs, and using micrometers and calipers to ensure precision.

The role includes occasional sheet metal work and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in electro-mechanical assembly, strong aptitude for mechanics and electronics, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/assembly environment.
• Experience with hand and power tools is essential.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical devices including Weld Control and sub-assemblies.
• Measure, cut, crimp, and solder wire harnesses.
• Follow engineering drawings and SOPs to complete tasks.
• Use hand and power tools and measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers).
• Occasionally shear, saw, drill, punch, or tap holes in sheet metal.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; manage time effectively.

About this position

Description:

Primary responsibilities of this position will be to complete electrical and mechanical assembly of controls and components. ENTRON Controls supplies a full line of microprocessor-based, solid-state controls for industrial welding applications.

Details of the position include:

• Assembly of electrical and mechanical devices comprising a complete Weld Control as well as sub assemblies for those controls.
• Measuring, cutting, crimping, and soldering of wire harnesses
• Following engineering drawings and SOPs
• The use of various hand and power tools, as well as measurement equipment to include micrometers, and calipers
• Occasional shearing, sawing, drilling, punching, or tapping holes in sheet metal
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Manage time effectively and efficiently
