AppleOne Employment Services in State College, PA is seeking an Assembler I for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This entry-level electronic assembly role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates who enjoy hands-on production, fine assembly, and contributing to a quality-focused manufacturing team.

You will perform mechanical and electronic assembly tasks such as cable assembly, bonding, hand soldering, limited product testing, and microscope work, while following drawings, work orders, and safety

Competenze

• High school diploma required.
• Entry-level experience accepted, with typically less than 1 year of related experience required.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to complete fine, detailed work.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work under a microscope for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused work habits.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to change.
• Basic computer literacy preferred for production records and system use.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working in an environment that may include chemicals, solvents, eye protection requirements, and laser-related processes.

Mansioni

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including cables, transducers, probes, sensors, and related product assemblies.
• Perform hand soldering, bonding, attaching, closing, and limited testing according to drawings, work orders, procedures, and verbal instructions.
• Work under a microscope for extended periods while completing fine, detailed assembly tasks.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, manufacturing documentation, safety rules, and clean work area expectations.
• Record labor time and work order activity accurately in the MRP system while supporting workflow efficiency.
• Participate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement activities while working respectfully with team members.
