Job summary

Intellisense Systems, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Assembler I for our Operations Department in Torrance, CA. The role requires electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience, soldering proficiency, and epoxy potting.

The assembler will build an advanced electro-mechanical product to AS9100 standards and work Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm on site. Responsibilities include soldering components, prototype and production assembly, testing, board-level programming, and maintaining inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Preferred: Associate degree in Electronics
• 1-3 years in high-tech manufacturing/production environment
• Experience with PCB assembly and testing, electrical harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components is a plus
• Good soldering skills (SMT, through-hole, and harnessing)
• Good understanding of soldering work standards (IPC-A-610/J-STD-001)
• Understanding of inventory control in an electronics production environment
• Capable of following assembly procedures and drawings for mechanical integration and test procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to commit and work under deadlines
• Must work in a team-oriented, engaging environment that promotes development
• Current IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification is a plus

We are seeking an Electronics Assembler I for our Operations Department. The successful candidate will have electronics and mechanical manufacturing experience and will be proficient in soldering, mechanical assembly, and epoxy potting. The Electronics Assembler I will be responsible for assembly of an advanced electro-mechanical product to AS9100 standards.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday | Shift (7:00am -3:30pm)

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect

Pay Range

$20.00 - $28.00 hr. (However, base salary for this position will vary based on your skills, qualifications, and experience)
