Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Electronics Assembler in Grand Rapids, MI to perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations, read engineering drawings, and follow work instructions. The role includes wiring, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and both manual and automated processes to meet production needs.

You will troubleshoot, apply conformal coating, participate in team meetings, and use Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Min 4 years of electronics manufacturing experience or 4 years with an Associate's or similar 2 year degree and experience with IPC A610 and JSTD 001.
• 4 years of troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Read and understand Engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions.
• Perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs.
• Manual and automated underfill, bonding, and staking.
• Touch-up and application of conformal/Parylene coating.
• Participate/engage in team meetings.
• Work on Windows-based programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
