Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) in Grand Rapids, MI seeks 3rd Shift Electronics Assemblers to assemble and modify electronic units, wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies per work instructions. Work is performed in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with most tasks done while seated.

The role emphasizes hands-on soldering, tight tolerance assembly, microscope inspection and use of small tools. Excellent dexterity and attention to detail are required for quality results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Assembly experience preferred.
• Fine motor skills with strong attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic circuit boards by installing components using soldering equipment and other small tools.
• Assemble electronic units, subassemblies, wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies.
• Adjust, repair or replace defective electronic components or assemblies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job description

We are seeking 3rd Shift Electronics Assemblers who will assemble and/or modify electronic units, subassemblies, wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies following work instructions. Our Electronics Assemblers work in a clean, temperature controlled environment and perform most work while seated. Our unique full-time work schedule allows for every other Friday off when workload permits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles electronic circuit boards by installing components using soldering equipment and other small tools.
• Assembles electronic units, subassemblies, wiring harnesses and mechanical assemblies using various small tools.
• Adjusts, repairs or replaces electronic components or assemblies to correct defects.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, preferred
• Assembly experience, preferred
• Acute dexterity of fingers and hands
• Ability to use small tools
• Keen attention to detail and quality
• Excellent vision. Ability to easily see small objects through a microscope
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach
• Ability to lift up to 30-35 pounds
