Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. is seeking an Assembler 1 for the Wilmington, MA area to assemble and test units in the Sensor Department.

The position offers a 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11pm, Monday–Friday, with a base rate of $20/hr plus a 10% shift differential for a total of $22/hr. Responsibilities include wiring, component installation, hand soldering, testing equipment, and maintaining quality standards in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of job-related work experience.
• Experience with Windows-based computers is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
• Work in a cleanroom environment to ensure quality standards are met.
