Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. is seeking an EM Assembler II for the West Boylston, MA area to contribute to the production of medical devices. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes adherence to quality and detailed workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assembling from BOMs and diagrams, interfacing with Engineering/QA, and learning new builds. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and experience with hand/power tools; technical school is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with experience; technical school preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Proficient with PC hardware and software installation and configuration.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate assemblies using hand and power tools according to BOMs and drawings.
• Work from written instructions, BOMs, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
• Interface with Engineering and QA regarding requirements, workmanship standards, and customer specifications.
• Learn new product builds and transfer knowledge to other assemblers.
• Assemble electrical panels and electrical boxes and troubleshoot as required.
