Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) is seeking an Electronics Assembler to read diagrams, build wire and cable assemblies, and form harnesses per schematics. The role involves soldering, measuring and verifying quality while using wire strippers and various hand tools.

Tasks include reading blue prints, assembling components, and partnering with supervision to complete assignments. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, physical ability to sit/stand/walk, and the capability to lift

Qualifications

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and reach and lift up to 35 pounds.

The Electronics Assembler is responsible to correctly and efficiently complete wire and cable assemblies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to regularly sit, stand and walk
• Must be able to pass a Vision exam to inspect work at a close distance
• Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math
• Must be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly
• Must have keen attention to detail and quality
• Must be able to bend, stoop and reach
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
