Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking an electrically oriented assembler to read wire diagrams and assemble cables and harnesses per schematics. You will handle soldering, wire wrapping, and quality checks across diverse components and subsystems.

The role requires reading blueprints, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds while standing or walking. ABT emphasizes quality and reliability in aerospace/defense applications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read wire diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
• Able to use measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blueprints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use wire strippers for wire ends (automatic and handheld).
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to regularly sit, stand and walk
• Must be able to pass a Vision exam to inspect work at a close distance
• Must be able to read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics
• Must be able to accurately use measuring tools and do basic math
• Must be able to effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly
• Must have keen attention to detail and quality
• Must be able to bend, stoop and reach
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
