Job summary

Boarhog LLC is seeking an Electronic Warfare Technician to perform equipment and system level maintenance on shipboard EW systems, including AN/SLQ-32 variants and SEWIP (V) 6/7, at the Surface Combat Systems Center on Wallops Island, VA. This role supports platform certification, operational testing, and Navy readiness.

Ideal candidates have DoD Secret clearance and 3 years of fault isolation experience; there is a preference for SEWIP expertise and a background in RedHat/UNIX environments,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of fault isolation and casualty restoration experience on EW systems.
• DoD Secret clearance required; interim clearance may be needed.
• Preferred: Certified Fiber Optic Installer.
• Security+ certification preferred.
• Experience with network devices and operating systems (RedHat/UNIX).
• HubZone residency is a plus (Wallops Island, VA area).

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment and system level maintenance on EW systems.
• Work on AN/SLQ-32 variants and SEWIP (V) 6/7 with opportunities to learn other ship defense systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot shipboard EW equipment to support readiness and certifications.
