Job summary

GaN Corporation is seeking an Electronic Warfare Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy advanced EW systems. The role requires expertise in RF systems, signal processing, and spectrum management to support defense operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create hardware and software architectures, perform risk analyses, and validate performance through lab and field testing. A Secret clearance is required or achievable; 3+ years of EW experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electronic warfare, RF systems, or related fields.
• Experience with EW system design and electromagnetic spectrum analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies, modeling and simulation to predict component and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
• Design and develop electronic warfare systems, including jammers, radar systems, situational awareness and communication systems.
• Develop hardware and software architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms.
• Assess EW specific risks and develop a mitigation plan.
• Analyze and process RF data to assess threat and communication information in the electromagnetic spectrum.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and reports for system verification and validation including environment and propagation effects.
• Collaborate with government agencies and military stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate EW systems into larger platforms (e.g., aircraft, ships, ground vehicles).
• Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, design reports, and user manuals.
