Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ seeks a skilled Test Technician to perform comprehensive electronic tests and support production readiness. The role requires handling test equipment, setting up test rigs, and collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to ensure first-pass success.

Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a government clearance and comfortable working in a 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Experience performing test operations utilizing test methods and/or written or verbal instructions.
• Experience with varied electronic test equipment.
• High school diploma or GED; Electronic Technology certificate/degree.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform test operations using prescribed methods or instructions.
• Obtain reference documentation such as Test Methods and Schematics.
• Set up test equipment to perform tests and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Test first article production models with Manufacturing and Design Engineering support.
• Adjust or remove components for fault isolation as needed.
• Operate automated test systems and related software.
• Perform fault isolation on production components as required.
• Maintain production records and test data.

THE WORK

• Perform test operations utilizing test methods and or written or verbal instructions as required.
• Obtain necessary reference documentation as required to perform testing e.g. (Test Methods, Specification Drawings, Schematics).
• Set up test equipment as required to perform all necessary tests and or troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Perform test on first piece production models working with Manufacturing and Design Engineering as required to assure smooth transition to production.
• May make adjustments and remove components as required for fault isolation.
• Operate automated test systems utilizing test software.
• May perform fault isolation on production components as required.
• Keep production records, logbooks and test data as required.

Basic Qualifications

Experience performing test operations utilizing test methods and or written or verbal instructions as required. Experience with varied electronic test equipment. Electronic Technology, or similar, Certificate/Degree. High school diploma or GED is required.

Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Desired Skills

Experience testing hardware (Analog, Digital, and Power). Familiar with Radio Frequency (RF) measurement equipment and techniques. Experience with test equipment that includes signal generators, oscilloscopes, volt meters, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers, etc. Understand the interactions of VSWR and Noise with RF Components. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while working in a team environment. Experience troubleshooting to the component level.

Pay Information

• $42.38 - $42.38
