ESCO Maritime Solutions in Yaphank, NY is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to test and troubleshoot electronic products to component level. You will read drawings, set up test equipment, and assist assemblers while ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in electronics, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a US government security clearance. This on-site role offers hourly compensation and travel as needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in the electronic/electrical industry.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (US citizens).

Responsibilities

Test and troubleshoot electronic products to component and sub-assembly level using schematics and procedures.
Read drawings and schematics to verify assemblies and test results.
Set up test equipment and follow documented test procedures.
Operate voltmeters, oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot meters, IR meters, power supplies and related tools.
Provide technical assistance to assemblers and suggest process improvements.
Document findings; maintain orderly workstation and comply with QMS procedures.
