Job summary

Openwork is seeking an experienced Test Operator to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. The role focuses on testing computers and peripherals, configuring BIOS, and loading OS images to ensure high-quality products prior to shipment.

Responsibilities include validating ports, running burn-in tests, and final system testing, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and following detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to set up and configure computer BIOS.
• Ability to install operating systems and images.
• Ability to identify potential problems related to computer functionality.
• Ability to install peripheral drivers and check operation of such.

Responsibilities

• Test computers and computer peripherals to ensure proper operation.
• Configure BIOS according to work instructions.
• Install operating systems and images on computers.
• Test all computer ports for functionality.
• Load diagnostic programs and start burn-in testing.
• Perform final testing of computer systems and peripherals to meet quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and housekeeping.
• Perform Hotpot and Ground-bond testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
