Job summary

CAC I International Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking an Electronic Test Technician (2nd shift) to build, align and test high-precision electro-optical and mechanical systems for Space/Satellite programs.

You will work in a cleanroom and support engineers with test fixtures and procedures. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, hands-on testing of PCBA, fiber optic, and laser assemblies, and proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters and optical analyzers.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination with education.
  • Testing custom electromechanical, electronic, fiber optic, and laser assemblies.
  • Working with PCBA testing.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of fiber optics and laser operation/safety.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Test PCBA, fiber/laser optic assemblies, and electrical hardware.
  • Perform electrical, fiber optic, and laser testing and characterization.
  • Follow test procedures and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Document test failures in reporting systems.
  • Support cleanroom test equipment maintenance.
