Purpose

Under general supervision , perform electrical functional testing, calibration, and verification of standard products, PCBAs, and systems in accordance with established procedures. Independently identify and document failures, elevate recurring issues to leads or engineering for trend analysis, and contribute to root cause investigations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention protocols. This is a mid-level technician role requiring solid proficiency in electronic symbol recognition, circuit design fundamentals, and hands‑on troubleshooting of moderately complex systems. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training, along with 2+ years of experience in RF and digital testing environments using discrete test equipment and CAT (Computer Automated Test) systems.

• Validate firmware and embedded software functionality during testing
• Document test outcomes and assist in root cause analysis for failures
• Support engineering teams with prototype and production-level testing
• May perform adjustments, calibration, alignment, (under supervision) modification of circuitry or components to improve product performance.
• Require the ability to use basic electronic theory to repair boards or systems. May assist in the construction of test fixtures.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex digital and RF circuits down to component level

Education and Experience

• Associate's degree (A. A.) in Electronics, Computer Engineering Technology or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school or
• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training - or equivalent combination of education and military experience.
