Job summary

Trideum Corporation is seeking an Electronic Technician Maintenance I to support the Warfighter Readiness and Training Support at Fort Hood, TX. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, operate tools and devices, and assist with training devices on ranges.

Responsibilities include handling TADDS equipment, following supervisor guidance, and ensuring safety and quality standards. The role requires outdoor work in desert conditions, lifting up to 50 pounds, and U.S.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience supporting military range communications systems or equipment is preferred.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Government CAC.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and wear PPE.
  • Must be able to read and understand manuals and technical docs.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in desert conditions.
  • Must be self-driven and work with limited supervision.
  • Must be available for 3 shifts: 0500-1400, 1300-2200, 2100-0600.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Operate TADDS devices and assist with warfighter readiness training on ranges.
  • Safely operate company vehicle and navigate range roads using map/compass, GPS, NOD, and radio comms.
  • Support quality/ISO, security, and safety training programs.
  • Safeguard all assigned equipment against loss or damage.
  • Cross-train to support other TADSS and assist with other WTRS contract equipment.

Position Summary

The Electronic Technician Maintenance I position supports the Warfighter Readiness and Training Support (WTRS) contract at Fort Hood, TX.

What You'll Do
  • Applies technical knowledge to solve routine tasks by following detailed instructions.
  • Receives technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician.
  • Stores, consumes, and accounts for all issued parts and materials to support range maintenance operations.
  • Shares maintenance issues and general operations updates with the supervisor and senior technicians on all TADDS training devices.
  • Equipment operation: Operating and maintaining hand and power tools and machinery such as commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws.
  • Maintain TADDS Training Aids, Device Simulators Warfighter Readiness and Training Support (WTR-S); targets and target construction.
  • Operate TADDS devices and help facilitate warfighter readiness training on Ranges.
  • Safely operates company vehicle; navigates established range roads and trails to specific locations using basic navigation techniques with map/compass, Global Positioning System (GPS), Night Optical Devices (NOD) when necessary, and radio communication systems.
  • Supports quality / ISO, security, and safety training programs.
  • Safeguards all assigned equipment issued by Trideum Corporation against loss, theft, and damage.
  • Will be cross-trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other WTRS contract equipment on the installation
  • 25% travel per Calendar year
Requirements and Qualifications
  • One year of experience supporting military range communications systems or equipment is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals and other technical documentation.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in desert conditions, including extreme heat, cold, blowing sand, and inclement weather.
  • Must be self-driven and able to routinely initiate, complete, and report assigned tasks without constant supervision.
  • Must be available to work any of the following shifts:
    • 0500-1400
    • 1300-2200
    • 2100-0600
  • Employees may be required to change shifts based on operational requirements and the needs of the team.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
