Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Electronic Technician - Precision Machine Tool Maintenance to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic and electrical systems in precision machine tools in Washington. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and detailed record-keeping to ensure peak equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electronic/electrical maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation helpful.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronic and associated electrical systems of precision machine tools and other manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications.
• Troubleshoot communication protocols between machine tool and production systems.
• Write and edit programs to support maintenance activities, including alignments and ballbars, using knowledge of high-level programming languages.
• Develop test programs and loops to troubleshoot equipment movement for repeatability and accuracy.
