Job summary

A telecommunications company is seeking an Electronic Technician to join their installation team in South Hackensack, NJ. The role involves installing CAT5E/6 and fiber data cables, performing cable terminations, and working with radios in a team setting. Successful candidates will have mechanical skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in varying conditions. This full-time position offers paid overtime, holidays, vacation, and training for new employees. Hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with Category 5/6 data cable installation.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install CAT5E/6 and fiber data cables.
• Perform cable terminations, install/align radios.
• Work in small groups on various projects.

Skills

Comfortable working with hand and power tools

Ability to pull/run CAT5E/6 data and Fiber cables

Climbing and lifting in indoor and outdoor conditions

Professional attitude and appearance

Willing to work occasional Paid overtime
