Job summary

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s Degree in Electronics is required.
  • Experience with PLC programs and vision inspection systems preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and good communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code and CGMP regulations preferred.
  • Experience with Robotics and programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to line calls and perform PMs on a regular basis.
  • Maintain safe work practices.
  • Troubleshoot equipment using electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Evaluate malfunctions with urgency to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a log of equipment repairs and problems.
  • Use plant electrical test equipment as needed.
  • Set up line equipment and Cognex Vision Systems.
  • Set up Systech Serialization Systems.
  • Install or assist in installing new equipment.
  • Assist maintenance during major plant breakdowns.
  • Overtime on weekends may be required.

Together our 1,800+ -strong team works from state-of-the-art facilities across the World.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the Electronic Technician Level 1 position. Other duties may also be assigned.* Efficiently respond to line calls and conduct PMs on a regular basis.* Always maintains safe work practices.* Must be competent in troubleshooting all equipment on site with the use of electrical schematics and blueprints.* Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.* Must be able to maintain a log/work sheet of equipment repairs and problems.* Must be competent in the use of all plant electrical test equipment.* Must be able to set up line equipment and vision systems in accordance with a Master Production Record.* Able to follow and understand production procedures, good documentation practices, and Work instructions.* Setup, maintain and troubleshoot Cognex Vision Systems.* Setup, maintain and troubleshoot Systech Serialization Systems.* Install or assist in the installation of new equipment, including proper layout and alignment.* Must assist all other maintenance personnel in the event of a major plant breakdown.* Must be able to work overtime on weekends.**QUALIFICATIONS:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
