Job summary

Southwire Co. is seeking an Electronic Technician to support manufacturing operations in Carrollton, GA. You will perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machinery while contributing to process improvements and problem-solving teams.

The role requires a strong electronic background, ability to read schematics and OEM manuals, plus proficiency with CMMS and Excel. A high school diploma is required, with a technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required. Technical degree preferred.
• Strong electronic background and hands-on experience with electrical test equipment.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methods.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors and production machinery.
• Repair electronic, digital equipment and AC/DC motor controls.
• Access PLC logic to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Maintain maintenance data and historical records.
