As an Electronic Technician 1, you will be responsible for maintaining PacifiCorp Communication systems, including but not limited to voice and data communication systems, telephone systems, PBX's, DCS, analog and digital microwave radio systems, land mobile radio systems, SCADA systems, power line carrier equipment, chart recorders, telemetry, tone relaying, fiber optics/lightwave, and associated switching and termination equipment. You will also install, test, and certify these systems. Off-road travel in extreme weather conditions may be required. The role involves working independently on assignments and possibly supervising an Electronic Technician Assistant. The technician is responsible for vehicles, tools, and materials provided by the company.
