Job Title: Electronic Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join our rapidly evolving division. This role involves assembling thermal systems and related equipment, programming and operating laser engraving machines, and supporting production workflow across various work areas.

Responsibilities

• Assemble thermal systems and related equipment from start to finish.

• Program and operate the laser engraving machine.

• Support production workflow as a floater across assigned work areas.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on troubleshooting skills.

• Precision assembly experience with small components, including connectors, wires, pins, seals, and tubing.

• Experience with soldering, preferably small‑gauge or fine‑wire soldering.

• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and fluid systems.

• Ability to follow detailed assembly and testing procedures accurately.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Good computer skills, including familiarity with Windows and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Blueprint and Schematic reading.

• Experience operating a laser etching machine.

• Soldering is a plus.

Work Environment

Candidates will wear a smock during work but can dress casually otherwise. You will work at a station alone but within a group of 10 employees. The company offers two 15‑minute paid breaks and a 30‑minute unpaid lunch throughout the day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
