Job Description

QCS has an opening for an Electronics Technician to calibrate test and measurement equipment in a Metrology Lab Environment and at Customers' facilities. Previous military or industrial experience is a plus. We offer competitive wages & benefits and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

1. Perform calibration and basic repair functions on various electronic test & measurement equipment according to ANSI, Military, Federal, and Manufacturer specifications.
2. Work with equipment used in sectors like Aerospace, Automotive, Defense, Medical, and Manufacturing.
3. Conduct work at customer facilities and in our climate-controlled lab environment.
4. Collect and analyze calibration data, adjust instruments as needed, and generate calibration certificates.
5. Follow calibration procedures and standards, and troubleshoot electronic equipment.

Qualifications

• Effective team player.
• 2-year technical school degree or equivalent experience in Electronics or Military (PMEL) training.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics, and understand instructions.
• Soldering skills.
• Strong AC/DC theory knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Proficiency with test equipment like DVMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and certifications.
• Strong computer skills and database usage.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Professional appearance and good communication skills for customer interface.

Additional Information

Some travel to customer sites is required, with travel expenses covered by QCS. Most work is performed in our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
