QCS has an opening for an Electronics Technician to calibrate test and measurement equipment in a Metrology Lab Environment and at Customers' facilities. Previous military or industrial experience is a plus. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and a positive work environment.

Job Description: Performs calibration and basic repair functions on various customer electronic test & measurement equipment to meet specifications according to ANSI, Military, Federal, and Manufacturer standards. The work covers sectors like Aerospace, Automotive, Defense, Medical, and Manufacturing. Some work is performed at customer sites with company-provided vehicles and tools; minimal overnight travel is required, with all travel expenses covered. The majority of work occurs in our climate-controlled metrology lab.

Job Duties include: Following procedures to ensure compliance with standards, collecting and analyzing calibration data, making adjustments to instruments, and maintaining accurate records. Knowledge of electronic principles, calibration techniques, and test equipment troubleshooting is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Effective team work skills
  • 2-year technical school degree or equivalent in Electronics, or Military (PMEL) training/experience
  • Ability to interpret drawings and schematics
  • Soldering skills
  • Strong AC/DC theory knowledge
  • Independence and initiative
  • Proficiency with digital/analog multimeters, oscilloscopes, analyzers, and related test equipment
  • Record-keeping and certification maintenance skills
  • Strong computer skills and database usage
  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills, professional appearance
