Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is hiring an Electronic Assembler/Technician to support cable manufacturing operations for aerospace programs.

The role requires US citizenship, active DoD Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with crimping, soldering, and harness assembly. The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, install and service hardware, and participate in QA inspections while maintaining inventory and equipment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum 3 years in aerospace cable/harness manufacturing.
• Experience reading and understanding engineering documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Leads cable manufacturing operations, trains junior technicians, ensures build compliance, and supports QA inspections.
• Organize and label electronic parts and materials.
• Operate and manage assembly and testing processes.
• Review schematics and other technical documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain, clean, and perform basic upkeep of equipment.
• Monitor and audit inventory items.
• Communicate updates and technical issues to supervisor.
• Use untried and untested measurement techniques; and improves the performance of the equipment.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret ClearanceMust have IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Trainer (CIT), J-STJ-STD-001 Certified Trainer, (CIT) and AS(!)) Internal Auditor Certification. Must have ability to stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift to 50 lbsMust be able to execute installation/lifting of heavy equipment and use of/climbing laddersMinimum 3 years in aerospace cable/harness manufacturingProficiency in crimping, soldering, and harness build reworkMust have (3) years of experience in installation of hardware and/or equipment as an Electronic Assembler or Electronic TechnicianExperience in reading/understanding engineering documents and drawings$33-$45 hr.
