Radiance Technologies is seeking a quality-focused electronics technician to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic systems per DoD specs.

The role requires reading diagrams and blueprints, teamwork, and multitasking across multiple projects while upholding zero-defect, right-the-first-time principles. Strong soldering, crimping, and harness fabrication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain clearance.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods and work from elevated surfaces.
• Experience in office, production/manufacturing and outside environments.
• Able to use hand and power tools, lift heavy objects, handle chemicals and adhesives.
• Proficient with Circuit Maker, OrCAD and AutoCAD LT201 software.

Responsabilités

• Maintain sensitive information per government standards.
• Read diagrams and blueprints and follow engineering orders.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, modify, test and troubleshoot electrical modules and wire harnesses.
• Install wires/components into electrical assemblies per drawings.
• Test and fault isolate components.
• Operate shop tools: torque wrench, pneumatic tools, hand tools, scales.
• Follow ESDis and right-the-first-time quality focus.
• Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications.
• May work from verbal instructions; keep area clean.
• May require extended hours or weekends.

Successful candidate will be quality focused with experience installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and DoD regulations. Candidate must have knowledge of how to read diagrams and blueprints. Candidate must be a team player with the ability to multitask across several projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards
• Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
• Provide technical support and assistance solving technical problems
• Must be able to demonstrate accurate basic math skills
• Performs a variety of tasks, which require knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials, tools and equipment
• Follows Electronic Static Discharge prevention (ESD) practices
• Interprets and follows manufacturing orders
• Operates shop related machinery to include torque wrench, pneumatic tools, common hand tools and scales
• Supports and exhibits the focus of zero defects as well as "right-the-first-time" approach
• Inspects finished products for conformance to specifications
• May work from verbal instructions
• Maintains a clean work area
• Fabricates, assembles, installs, repairs, modifies, tests, operates, and troubleshoots electrical modules, components, and wire harnesses
• Installs wires and electrical components into electrical assemblies per engineering drawings and specifications
• Tests and performs fault isolation of components
• Strong decision-making abilities
• Demonstrates proficiency at electronic assembly, soldering, crimping, splicing, harness fabrication, and control panel building
• Other duties may be assigned
• May be required to work extended hours or weekends, as needed.

Required Experience

• Ten years of experience in related technical field

Required Skills

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working from elevated surface on a regular basis
• Ability to work in office, production/manufacturing and outside environment
• Ability to perform and/or assist in all activities, including the use of hand and power tools, lifting heavy objects, and working with industrial chemicals and adhesives such as epoxy, glues, paints, and cleaners
• Software experience with industry standard operating systems and applications to include Circuit Maker, OrCAD, and AutoCAD LT201

Desired Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from Armed Forces from Technical MOS (or) Associate Degree in technical related field
• Over 20 years of experience as electronics technician
• Formal Cable assembly training with certification
• Experience populating and soldering components on circuit boards
• Quality inspection experience
• Ability to travel occasionally
