Subsite Electronics, a division of The Toro Company, is seeking an Electronic Service Technician at our Mt. Sterling, KY facility.
You will test, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electronic products, using scopes, meters, and soldering tools, and you’ll interact with Engineers and production teams to diagnose issues. The role requires HS diploma (associate degree preferred), strong schematic reading, and the ability to lift 50–70 lb.
Subsite Electronics, located in Mt. Sterling, KY is a division of The Toro Company. Subsite Electronics provides underground construction professionals the most comprehensive suite of electronic products in the industry, including Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) guidance equipment, utility locators, utility inspection systems, and equipment machine controls.

This employee performs a variety of jobs in the Subsite Electronics repair area. Primarily, the employee tests, troubleshoots, and repairs products that are sent in for repair. This includes diagnosis, parts sourcing, estimate creation, repair documentation, and various other processes and interactions with Engineers, Product Support, and manufacturing.

HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Electronic Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, or related discipline preferred. Electronic Service Technician I: 1-3 years of prior experience in an electrical or mechanical industry. Electronic Service Technician II: minimum 3 plus years of prior experience in an electrical or mechanical industry. This role involves independently moving 50-70 lb. equipment, and frequently repositioning these electronic items throughout working on the repair each day. Have a good work record of self‑motivation, judgment, and productivity. Proficiency in reading schematics and related engineering information. Have appropriate experience building, testing, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies and fixtures. Have effective communication skills, and work well with others. Be willing to work overtime or extra hours as needed.
