Versar Global Solutions is seeking an Electronic Systems Security Technician for the Washington, DC area. The role involves maintaining and installing electronic security systems, including access control, intrusion detection, and video management platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related experience, proficiency with Software House C*CURE 9000, Bosch VMS, and Bosch Intrusion, and can obtain certification within 90 days. Onsite work in DC with daily site commutes is required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in security systems installation.
• Experience with access control systems and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to obtain Software House C*CURE 9000 Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on Access Controls including card readers, locks, and biometric devices.
• Work on Intrusion Systems and Prevention Systems, including perimeter controls.
• Work on Video Management Systems (Bosch, Milestone, Axis).
• Terminate and dismantle devices and reconstruct equipment as required.
• Analyze blueprints and building plans for wiring and layout.
