Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician to troubleshoot, install, and service CCTV IP cameras, access control, and intrusion panels at facilities within a 50-mile radius.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4+ years in electronic security maintenance, and the ability to obtain/maintain security clearances; Associate degree and OEM training are a plus. Travel up to 10% with core hours 7:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with electronic security systems maintenance and installation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain extensive customer investigation and clearance.
• Secret clearance is preferred.
• OEM factory training from Identiv, Bosch and/or Cisco switches is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install CCTV IP cameras, access control and intrusion detection panels per IDP.
• Perform function tests and analysis on installed security systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Cable dressing and labeling of installed devices.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team and communicate clearly.
