Job summary

Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit is seeking an Electronic Security Systems Technician II to install, troubleshoot, and test electronic security systems such as access control, intrusion sensors, and CCTV. The role involves independent work and collaboration on Department of Defense security projects.

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires travel to job sites as needed, with a focus on high-quality, compliant system installations and customer support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IDS, EAC, and IP-based CCTV systems.
• Proficient with low-voltage wiring, IP networks, and alarm systems.
• Certifications above preferred (C-Cure/Lenel).

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain integrated electronic security systems (IDS, ACS, CCTV).
• Perform diagnostics, corrective maintenance, and system verification on hardware, software, and network components.
• Coordinate with project teams for cutovers, upgrades, and assessments.
• Work with blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Install head end equipment, security panels, card readers, and door hardware.
• Assist with system configuration and network integration.
• Contribute to system verification testing and documentation.
• Manage inventories of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Provide customer training and on-site technical support.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned
