i2G Systems is seeking an Electronics Security Service Technician to install, service, and maintain CCTV/IP camera systems, access control, and intrusion detection in Ohio. The role covers on-site and remote support, with preventive maintenance and firmware updates.

Preference for candidates with IP networking knowledge, low-voltage wiring expertise, and a valid driver’s license. Location preference: Cleveland or Columbus, OH.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Install, configure, and test CCTV/IP camera systems, NVRs/VMS platforms, and networked security devices.
• Install and service access control systems (card readers, door hardware, controllers, biometrics).
• Diagnose and repair intrusion alarm systems, sensors, panels, and communication modules.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and firmware/software updates.
• Run, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, fiber).
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Document service activities, parts used, and system configurations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to resolve complex issues.

The Electronic Security Service Technician installs, services, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, alarms, and related low‑voltage equipment. This role ensures systems operate reliably, meet customer requirements, and comply with industry standards

Responsibilities

Other Eligibility Requirements

• Must be able to meet and maintain various certifications, licenses and/or registrations, in accordance with applicable state laws and as required by the electronic security regulations in the state (s) worked.
• Must be willing to participate in and pass the company’s pre‑employment screening process including a background investigation and drug screening.
• If applicable, must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.

Location preference is Cleveland or Columbus, OH
