i2G Systems specializes in advanced electronic security and life safety solutions. The Electronic Security Service Technician role installs, services, troubleshoots, and maintains CCTV/IP camera systems, access control, and intrusion detection across customer sites.

You will read diagrams, test systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating with project managers and vendors to resolve complex issues. This field role requires independent work and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• Experience with electronic security systems (video, access, intrusion).
• Strong understanding of IP networking, switches, PoE, and basic routing.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools (multimeter, cable tester, laptop‑based utilities).
• Knowledge of low‑voltage wiring standards and installation best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to lift equipment and work on ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and test CCTV/IP camera systems, NVRs/VMS platforms, and networked security devices.
• Install and service access control systems (card readers, door hardware, controllers, biometrics).
• Diagnose and repair intrusion alarm systems, sensors, panels, and communication modules.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and firmware/software updates.
• Run, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling (Cat5/6, coax, fiber).
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Document service activities, parts used, and system configurations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to resolve complex issues.

The Electronic Security Service Technician installs, services, troubleshoots, and maintains electronic security systems including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, alarms, and related low-voltage equipment. This role ensures systems operate reliably, meet customer requirements, and comply with industry standards
