Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a field Installation Technician to manage site work and install security solutions for new and existing clients. You will collaborate with internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

The role requires hands-on installation of CCTV and access control systems, troubleshooting, and timely documentation. Overtime and travel may be required, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Clear and professional communication with customers and co‑workers.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Follow installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G.
• Willing to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures systems are installed properly and on time per Kastle procedures and QC standards.
• Provides feedback to identify barriers to timely execution of the project (e.g., construction delays or changes).
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, equipment, and tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date with Kastle services, technology and internal processes.

• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.


• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.


• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.


• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.


• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.


• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy‑five pounds.


• Must be able to distinguish colors.


• Must be able to interface and communicate with customers and co‑workers in a clear and professional manner.


• Candidate must be able to use MS Word, Excel, etc.


• Ability to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G.


• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.


• Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
