Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a diligent Installer to manage site installations of CCTV, access control, and security systems for new and existing clients in a fast-growing organization.

You will work with internal and external teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure project success, while adhering to safety and quality standards. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to follow installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures systems are installed properly and on time per Kastle's procedures and quality standards.
• Provides feedback to identify barriers to timely execution of projects, such as delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains and protects building keys for customer sites.
• Communicates with customers, contractors, and Kastle staff to install/test equipment.
• Stays up to date with Kastle services and internal processes.

This position will focus on the site management and installation of security solutions for new and existing clients while working alongside internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.
• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.
• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.
• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.
• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.
• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy‑five pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Must be able to interface and communicate with customers and co‑workers in a clear and professional manner.
• Candidate must be able to use MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G.
• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.
• Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
