Job summary

i2G Systems seeks a Technician to manage site installations and testing of CCTV, access control, and security solutions for new and existing clients in the Philadelphia area.

The role collaborates with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure successful deployments, with flexibility for overtime and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed 75 pounds.
• Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Able to interface and communicate with customers and co‑workers clearly.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Able to follow installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Available for overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.
• Maintain safe driving record and valid driver’s license for travel.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensures systems are installed on time per Kastle and project standards.
• Provides feedback on barriers to timely project completion.
• Documents completed work accurately.
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Keeps building keys secure for customer sites.
• Communicates with customers, contractors, and Kastle staff to install/test equipment.
• Stays current with Kastle services and internal processes.

This position will focus on the site management and installation of security solutions for new and existing clients while working alongside internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems.


• Ensures that systems are installed properly and on time in accordance with Kastle's procedures and quality control standards.


• Provides feedback and information to identify any potential barriers to timely execution of the project, such as construction delays or changes.


• Provides accurate documentation for completed work.


• Maintains assigned company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue.


• Maintains and protects building keys to customer buildings.


• Communicates with customers, customer representatives, contractors and Kastle staff as necessary to install and test equipment.


• Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology as well as internal processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use metering devices.


• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and carry tools and equipment not to exceed seventy‑five pounds.


• Must be able to distinguish colors.


• Must be able to interface and communicate with customers and co‑workers in a clear and professional manner.


• Candidate must be able to use MS Word, Excel, etc.


• Ability to follow the installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures outlined by i2G.


• Must be available to work overtime, weeknights, and/or weekends when necessary.


• Must continue to maintain a safe driving record and valid driver’s license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
