What You Will Do
  • Install low-voltage cabling for Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and intercom systems
  • Install and terminate copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure
  • Install and configure electronic security equipment, control panels, devices, and supporting hardware
  • Install head-end equipment, including servers, NVRs, DVRs, Ethernet switches, and related network equipment
  • Properly mount cameras, enclosures, displays, power supplies, switches, and associated equipment
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
  • Follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
  • Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate daily project progress
  • Safeguard company tools, equipment, and materials
  • Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety requirements
  • Travel to project sites and support installations nationwide as needed
What You Bring
Required:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training
  • 3+ years of experience in electronic security systems, low-voltage systems, or related technical fields
  • Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, installation practices, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and follow project drawings, specifications, and installation instructions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide and safely use basic hand tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Must pass background screening requirements
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting federal government projects or agencies
  • Military technical experience or honorable military service
  • OSHA certification
  • Manufacturer certifications or experience with Lenel, Avigilon, Software House, Milestone, or similar platforms
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $23.07.- $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
