Job summary

Circom, Inc. in Illinois seeks an Electronics Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities of general assemblers, SMT operators and electronic technicians in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You will lead production, troubleshoot, maintain records with process engineers, ensure ISO/IPC standards are met, and communicate priorities. Preference for Electrical Engineer degree; IPC standards experience required; 5-7 years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 5-7 Years experience in an electronics manufacturing supervisory role with one or more companies.
• IPC standards knowledge required.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing required.
• Knowledge of industry quality and ISO standards a must.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the production staff of general assemblers, SMT operators and electronic technicians to ensure all production related work is being completed efficiently and on time.
• Provide troubleshooting, technical evaluation and process improvement support to operation, technical and engineering teams.
• Communicate production goals to employees and establish and communicate priorities.
• Review quote/production documentation and provide labor estimates for cable, board and box build assemblies.
• Work with process engineer to create/maintain accurate production related records and procedures.
• Communicate, administer and ensure compliance of company policies, attendance, environmental issues, and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Interface/work with others in the organization to ensure customers requirements are met.

Electronics Production Supervisor for Electronic Design Contract Manufacturer

Circom, Inc. is a well-established electronic design/contract manufacturing services provider looking for an experienced person who is a self-motivated team player with the ability to perform and oversee multiple operation tasks. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, has a strong personal work ethic and desires to work hands-on in the plant, not behind a desk.

Job responsibilities include:

Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the production staff of general assemblers, SMT operators and electronic technicians to ensure all production related work is being completed efficiently and on time. Must have a working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, cable/wire equipment, SMT machines, reflow ovens, batch washers, dryers, coating, and wave soldering machines and processes. AOI machine experience is a plus.

• Needs to have a basic understanding of electronic circuits and components, their specifications, and be able to understand and identify drawings and bills of material.
• Provide troubleshooting, technical evaluation and process improvement support to operation, technical and engineering teams.
• Communicate production goals to employees and establish and communicate priorities.
• Review quote/production documentation and provide labor estimates for cable, board and box build assemblies.
• Work with process engineer to create/maintain accurate production related records and procedures.
