Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Electronics Operator for a company based in Alliance, TX. The role involves high level operations including inspection, assemblies, disassembly, packaging, and testing of mobile phones or similar electronics, plus material supply and scrap coordination to meet production targets.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Basic understanding of the production flow process.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Commitment to maintaining 5S standards and lean principles.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, assemble, and reassemble components using the appropriate manual or mechanical tools and work instructions.
  • Follow required handling methods to protect products from scratches, drops, or damage.
  • Record quantity, failure code, and type of failure for rejected phones.
  • Receive, check, inspect, and manage non-conforming materials.
  • Follow the quality standards listed in the work instructions.
  • Report non-conforming materials, tools, or equipment.
  • Assist in training junior operators as needed.
  • Check equipment and tools for replacements or repairs and report issues.
  • Follow ESD practices and use required protective gear.
  • Maintain and protect materials and equipment.
  • Receive, manage, and store materials for the line or shipping area.
  • Use designated tools and ask for help to prevent workmanship errors.

Electronics Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for someone that is interested in an Electronics Operator for a company based in Alliance, TX. In this role, you will Perform high level complex operations such as inspection, assemblies, disassembles, packaging and testing for mobile phones and/or similar electronic products as well as material supply and scrap coordination and other tasks assigned to meet production targets (quality, quantity and time).

Pay Rate

$15.00/Hr

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Plus Overtime on Saturday

Electronics Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Repair, assemble, and reassemble components using the appropriate manual or mechanical tools and work instructions.
  • Use the required tools and handling methods to help protect products from scratches, drops, or other damage.
  • Follow the process for rejected phones, including recording the quantity, failure code, and type of failure.
  • Receive, check, inspect, and manage non-compliant materials.
  • Follow the quality standards listed in the work instructions.
  • Report any non-conforming materials, tools, or equipment used during assembly, disassembly, or testing.
  • Help train junior operators when needed.
  • Check equipment and tools for needed replacements, malfunctions, or repairs, and report issues to the MFO or Line Leader.
  • Follow required ESD practices and use protective items such as a wrist band, heel strap, ESD gown, and other required gear.
  • Help protect and maintain assigned materials and equipment.
  • Receive, manage, and store materials for the line or shipping area while helping maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Use designated tools for the job and ask for help when needed to help prevent workmanship errors.
Electronics Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • Able to read and follow work instructions, understand assigned tasks, and complete them correctly.
  • Basic understanding of the production flow process and the responsibilities of the assigned area.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized each day according to 5S standards.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • Take part in Lean Manufacturing, EMC Teams, and/or FIH key principles related to quality, cost, productivity, and social responsibility.
  • Help keep work area policies, procedures, and work instructions current and followed.
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks
  • Support the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to applicable standards.
  • Help meet customer, regulatory, and applicable work requirements
