Job summary

Sentinel Offender Services is seeking a Field Tech (Criminal Justice) for Waterbury, Danbury and Torrington. This entry level role focuses on installing and servicing electronic monitoring and GPS equipment, with a schedule Mon-Fri 10:00AM-6:00PM and mileage reimbursement in defined areas.

Hourly pay ranges from $17.75 to $18.00, with benefits including Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, Vision Insurance, and Employee Assistance.

Qualifications

• Entry level position for Electronic Monitoring and GPS equipment.
• Perform equipment installations, removals and troubleshooting of all equipment.
• Daily client scheduling and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove various electronic monitoring equipment as requested using directed safety precautions.
• Provide support for service and maintenance of equipment.
• Keep accurate records of service calls.
• Inspect and maintain all monitoring and testing equipment, this includes cleaning equipment.
• Diagnose and repair of EM equipment as outlined in company procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between Sentinel and/or other contracted agencies, as needed based on duty shifts
