The Boeing Company is seeking an Electronic/Mechanical Lab Technician (Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead) for the Starfire Optical Range at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. The role is 100% onsite, involving hands-on lab work, test system design, and collaboration with engineers and government teams.

Responsibilities include planning and documenting activities, test integration, and assisting with system verification and hazardous materials procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in engineering technician, construction, or facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience with powered hand tools or equipment.
• 2+ years of experience with electronics troubleshooting equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Willing and able to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead Electronic/Mechanical Lab Technician (Level 2, 3, 4) to join our exclusive team at the Starfire Optical Range on Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plans, conducts, and documents activities on products, systems, and processes

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• 2+ years of experience in engineering technician, construction, or facilities maintenance disciplines
• 2+ years of experience working with powered hand tools or equipment
• 2+ years of experience working with electronics troubleshooting equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Willing and able to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
• Experience operating complex computer-based analysis or control systems
• Experience assembling lab prototypes, chassis wiring, and mechanical mounting based on schematics, drawings, and system requirements
• Experience with electronics/electrical systems
• Experience with mechanical systems
• Experience with HAZMAT / HAZWASTE processes and procedures

Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $91,800 - $124,200

Mid-Level (Level 3) Summary pay range: $112,200 - $151,800

Lead (Level 4) Summary pay range: $136,850 - $185,150
