Bloomberg L.P. is seeking a Financial Analyst for the Electronic Markets Sales Finance team in New York. The role focuses on delivering financial insights, supporting leadership, and producing high-quality analysis to inform commercial decisions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with commercial judgment, translating data into actionable insights, and partnering with Sales and Finance leadership to drive growth and visibility into business performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of relevant finance, FP&A, or sales analytics experience.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with forecasting and planning experience.
• Excellent communication of complex analyses to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance forecasting and pipeline models for Electronic Markets Sales.
• Analyze sales performance across products, segments, regions, and teams.
• Support quarterly forecasts, AOP, long-range planning, and target setting.
• Develop analyses to support strategy, pricing, and growth.
• Produce executive-ready reporting for Sales and Finance leadership.
• Translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for sales, pipeline, and revenue growth.
• Partner with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams on planning.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Support productivity analyses including coverage and headcount deployment.
• Drive improvements in sales reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
